About a month ago, we’ve explored the possibility to work with Eggplant.
License is 20k per user so their current market is the big IT firms, for their own products.
Small development firms or independent developers cannot afford such tool. Testing is extremely time consuming so even more costly in resources for small firms and independent developers.
Through our discussions with them, we discovered that they had not envisioned that their tool could be used by consulting firms. They expressed curiosity and interest to see how this could be. They also showed some willingness to work out some form of arrangement to make it accessible.
It occurred to me that a coop could be a way from our part, to reduce the gap.
If the coop was able to obtain an interesting arrangement, who else would be interested to gain access to this tool/service?
