# Default Fields

I just noticed that FileMaker 2023 is not using the custom DefaultFields I set up with 19. Anyone know how to fix this?

FileMaker default fields are part of the FileMaker Package itself on a mac, and on windows they are within the version folder.

If you installed a newer version of FileMaker, it may have overwritten the previous package file on the mac, or folder on windows, so you may need to re-add these.
