**v2.1 release notes**

**videos**

• favorite and watched video tracking is persisted now to core data for all users (no iCloud requirement)  
• for iCloud users, favorite and watched tracking is also synced and will survive a reinstall or new device  
• unwatched videos are badged now (rather than recently added)  
• swipe right to toggle watched or unwatched  
• watched status is triggered at the end of video playback, by default

**podcasts**

• episode tracking is persisted now to core data for all users (no iCloud requirement)  
• for iCloud users, episode tracking is also synced and will survive a reinstall or new device  
• unheard episodes are badged now (rather than recently added)  
• swipe right to toggle heard or unheard  
• listened status is triggered at the end of episode playback, by default  
• playback will continue throughout the app (in all controllers)  
• playback will resume if interrupted by a call or if the app is temporarily backgrounded

**misc**

• now reopens to last active tab on cold starts  
• fixed a race condition that sometimes showed an empty Partner table when no connection  
• as before, syncs automatically and works offline (sans streaming)
