# Looking for Non-Profit's that need FileMaker development help

Everyone or anyone,

I am almost completed with my first FileMaker App for a Non-profit in Nova Scotia Canada. The APP manages their contacts, members, donors, and Volunteers. I did it “Pro-Bono” for a 2 week vacation to visit them in June 2026.

My approach is to find other non-profits located at places that I would like to vacation and to negotiate a 1-2 week vacation in their area for each summer. I will do the FileMaker development during the fall-winter-spring and then go live before traveling to their location.

I would like to find a non-profit in Alaska for 2026-2027. As my wife is retiring and we would like to travel to Alaska and take a cruise ship back to Seattle in the June/July 2027 timeframe.

If anyone knows of Alaskian non-profits using FileMaker, I could use a contact name, phone, email, website. Also If anyone has an suggestions or advice on how I could do my search for non-profits needing FileMaker development help, it would be appreciated!

51 views but no replies, anyone have ideas...does not need to be in Alaska.

When Covid hit I retired as a Program/Project Manager with 36+ years in Electrical Engineering and IT.

I then taught part-time at The Ohio State University for 6 years that ended yesterday.

Looking to get into FileMaker Development pro bono; in the process of completing my first FileMaker Solution/APP and looking for other non-profit projects.

Any help from the FileMaker and fmsoup community would be appreciated.
