just be aware if we finally get multi-threading (at least on the layout rendering) that your problems might need to be resolved again ..
Care to expand. Especially layout rendering has no impact on my functions, since 99.99% of their use is scripted.

I'm with you when you when it comes to consuming data. The only data
that the CF should see should be passed in parameters. It should be
within a black box. And we can include our data sets in that too.
However, we have a CF that outputs data to local variables. You can only
do that with a CF, but you only need one CF to do that, not every single
one.
