many thanks for your inputs. I finally had the result I wished.
The result is:
As you can see I have a certain distance between the buttons.
How I did it:
- I lowered the radius or the edges
- I removed the line around the buttons
- I made the height of the Dividers higher than the actual sapce between buttons. On the last screen shots I made the dividers red to see them
- The color of the Dividers is the same as the background
The Dividers expands inside the buttons' edges, but the fact that the radius was lowered, users will not notice !
