We are happy to sponsor the Elevate FM conference in Toronto. This is an English speaking FileMaker conference in Canada happening from June 4 to 5th, 2026 in the Toronto Hilton hotel.

Currently you can get early bird tickets for $899 CAD, which is about $656 USD or 566 Euro.

I visited the conference last year and stayed in the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, which was more affordable and in walking distance to the conference.

If you have extra time:

  • Visit Fort York National Historic Site

  • Visit the Village at Black Creek (open air museum)

  • Go for a walk in the High Park

  • Take the ferry to Toronto Islands Park

  • Make a day trip to Niagara Falls

Thanks for posting this. How “big” and what level is this conference? I was hoping for an official Filemaker conference this year, but at this point I’m not holding my breath. I have a client who “tinkers” in Filemaker (layout changes and VERY MINOR script changes) and we were thinking of going together. I’d be looking more at cutting edge stuff and optimization and system best practices, and he’d be looking more at “Filemaker 101” type things, as well as meeting people and making connections of course. I’d consider it a win for me if I found 10 ways to optimize my workflow and make my code more efficient.

We weren’t able to make it to Brussels which seemed like the biggest English-speaking con we could make it to, is this our next best “sure” thing, barring an announcement from Claris? I did see the one in California too, which could be good for me, but probably wouldn’t have been great for my client to come to also.

Claris announced that there is none in 2026, so the next one is 2027.

The EngageU in Europe is probably 250 people.
Elevate FM is maybe 50 to 60 people and has more People from North America.

Is there anything in North America that’s closer to EngageU? The timing of Engage U isn’t ideal for us… but could be an option if there’s nothing of that size in North America.

sorry bad phrasing on my part.

I was wondering if there’s anything in else that’s “similar in size” to EngageU (which I think is 200+ people?) Sept/Oct is busy for my school clients. Calgary might work for us I’m just a little concerned that it won’t have enough lower level content for Josh if he comes with (since he’s footing the bill lol) and I imagine a larger conference would have a wider spread of content.
