I’ve known about this for a while, but I feel a contextual menu would be so much better for this (I admit selecting the tool instead of an object was not known to me):
To | In Layout mode do this |
---|---|
Select all objects of the same type, including objects on tab panels or slide panels that are not in front (for example, all text objects or all rectangles) | (1)- Click the tool for the type of object to select, then choose Edit menu > Select All . (2)- Or, with the arrow pointer, click an object, press Shift (Windows) or Option (macOS), and choose Edit menu > Select All (Windows) or Select Same (macOS). (3)-Note Objects on popovers are not selected. |
