How are you getting the Find and Replace dialog inside the Calculation Editor?

The colored expressions in the calculation as well as the indentation suggest MBS.

  • Install MBS Plugin
  • Go to the calculation dialog
  • Click in the text
  • Press Command-F

and this needs macOS, not Windows!

Yeah, that’s MBS, not “macOS native”.
I get it… there are some MBS feature that just become part of your workflow, that I’ve forgotten they aren’t “native” features.

Yes. MBS Plugin enables it in FileMaker for all text areas.

You just pointed out my pet peeve - WHY is there not a disclosure triangle, or 3-dot or SOME icon to indicate that further options are available?

This Apple human interface idea of hiding things - just like Apple Mail, where the Reply/Attachment set of buttons is hidden unless you know to mouse over them.
