If Keynote is not Monday evening, but is Tuesday morning, that pretty much takes out half a day, especially with transportation. Get back to the Apple campus, have lunch, and then an afternoon of sessions. And a full day of sessions on Wednesday. That gives only 1.5 days of actual sessions. It just reminds me of how I was used to Devcons that were full 3 day conferences (plus optional training day). I appreciate that Claris is doing Engage, but it certainly is not the magnitude of the Devcons and it seems to feel like a diminishing direction.
This conference is basically the same as last year, but they swapped the one Apple Campus with the hotel. The rest is in the other Apple Campus like before, but just 1.5 days.
Which also sounds bad for exhibition. But they promise to have all exhibitors in one room at least, so I wonder whether we would be in a different building this time.
Also the keynote date isn't the arrival day now. Everyone basically arrives now the day before the keynote and then we may organize a get together ourselves.
