SVG image format for button icons

Hi I'm desperately seeking knowledge on how to reformat svg images for using as button icons. I like to use this Material Design icon: delete-black-48dp.svg.zip (1.1 KB) It failed when I tried to convert it with https://fmsvg.com/ Does somebody have good experience on this? Thanks a lot! Immanuel

has anybody converted a set of custom SVG (or PDF) shapes into a TrueType or OpenType font?

Hi Holger

I've used Fontographer 5 to replace characters in an existing font with logos to use inline in text.
Fontographer is not macOS 64bit compatible, but they have a new tool FontLab 7 that should do the job: Fontographer. Classic clutter-free font editor by FontLab.
