Here would be handy MBS function while in the scripts workspace I select a set of script steps and use the right click to get popup menu,

new option

  • Create Sub-script from selected...
  • Create PSOS Subscript from selected...
  • Create PSOScb Subscript from selected...

when confirmed it will generate a new script named - [subscript - Name of parent script ]

then It would have removed - or commented out the selection from the current script and insert the above type of script with the script name already applied.

Would be a good measure to help break up very verbose scripts.

Nice idea. Let’s see what Claris envisions for the future of the script workspace at the conference later this month.

Then I could look into this.
Or maybe it can be done already with your own contextual menu entry and a calculation to do this.
