Clicking through a perform script step

A while ago I discovered you could click into a perform script step and open up the script being referenced - and make edits.

I haven't been able to do that recently.

Does anyone here know how to do this?

I assume you mean in the button setup when in layout mode. Click on the script name, not on the script icon to the right of the script name. This will display the script in the script editor.

To open the script for editing

  • command + click the script name
  • or tab to the script name and press shift + command + spacebar

To open the script picker to switch scripts

  • click the script name
  • or tab to the script name and press spacebar

I prefer the mouse-less option for each above
