If someone from outside the USA plans to go to a conference inside the USA within the next two years, you may want to renew ESTA before 30th September.
Why? Well, the price is about to double in October to $40 USD.
Similarly any non EU visitor planning to come to an EU conference next year will also have to do a ETIAS to be allowed into the European Union (except Ireland), Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.
