External Data Source Points to Itself

I have an External Data Source ("Interface") that points to itself (i.e., the path points to the Interface file that I'm currently working in). Base Elements is flagging this with a warning and says, "change any elements that reference this item to use the local file instead".

However, when look at the script step that BE is highlighting, the step says Perform Script specified from list: "login" from file "Interface". I don't see a reference to the External Data Source. I should be able to delete the External Data Source 'interface" with no negative consequences, correct?

Don't delete the External Data Source (EDS) until you re-point the Perform Script to use "Current File"

If you delete the EDS first, then it will break the Perform Script:
