FM Fathom Beta Now Open to More Participants

FM Fathom has reached a quality milestone with early testers and is now gradually opening the beta to a larger audience.

FM Fathom is an AI-enabled tool, similar to FMPerception, InspectorPro, and BaseElements, that helps you understand, build within, and safely publish any FileMaker solution. It reads the SaveAsXML export of your solution (tables, fields, scripts, layouts, and accounts), builds a navigable catalog, and automatically generates key analytics. You can trace dependencies, find unused elements, audit security, and check Data API and OData readiness before you expose data. Add your FileMaker Server logs to see what actually runs in production. Ask questions in plain language through 25 read-only MCP tools or the built-in assistant, which uses your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter key. FM Fathom itself never modifies your file. Instead, it reads your solution and, with AI assistance, helps you write or correct scripts, calculations, and fields that you can then paste directly into FileMaker. For teams, findings become work items that you can assign to any developer, discuss in place, and track on a built-in kanban board. A macOS app that keeps all data on your own computer is in alpha.
