How to use full set of SF Display Pro font items

I tested using the glyphs of the SF Display font in FM 19.4.2 (on M1 MacOS 12.3.1). Only a fraction of the available items display correctly. Most items a represented by this:

The SF font is commended by Apple as the default for displaying glyphs in UIs.

Has anyone found a way to make full use of SF fonts in FM?

Just found out:

  • copy-paste or drag & drop from Font Book does not work.

  • 'Copy Symbol' (right-click on item) in FM Symbols beta app and paste into FM works.
