Web server failing with "certificate has expired" error (Certificate is renewed)

The certificate on my FileMaker 17 Server expired, and has successfully updated.
FileMaker Clients can connect securely, but web access (WebDirect or Web Publishing Engine) do not.

I have done this process multiple times yet this is the first time my PHP code fails to reconnect.

I am able to connect internally on the FileMaker Server to both the Admin Console and to WebDirect, but insecurely.

FileMaker 17 Server on Mac, the web server is on AWS EC2 Linux 1
Both machines have been rebooted.

What else should I look at?

SOLVED: Although I had already done it once, I did a complete shutdown of the server (powered off.) After the cold start the web server serves up the new certificate.

(After writing my query here, I tried some new search criteria and finally hit upon several folks with the same problem who got some answers.)
