Webdirect image issues (low res)

My images have good quality and works perfect in filemaker pro, windows and mac. I use PNG and JPEG.

When using webdirect those images looks very bad and in low resolution (i found no way to fix that)

So I tested gif format and WOW it was back to high res and good quality, I ran scripts and server scripts and all was good. Now suddenly the GIF's are no longer high res and looks bad, ver bad resolution and distorted. Anybody knows why and how to solve it? Is it beacuse i run scripts on server?

After finding work around one with gif files i tried converting the image back to PNG, creating a button and the importing the images in to the button. Thats worked aswell, but sizes can be tricky to work with.
