See official blog post here: Claris launches FileMaker 19: the company's first open platform extending low-code development using readily-available JavaScript libraries.

Subscription only?

When I go to single user page, it's still FMP 18.

Nope, see this (Canada store):

Looks like all pages were not updated, I have seen one with FMS 18 on it - can't find it now.

Probably still waiting for some stuff to update.

Yep. It updated. Thanks.

It updated when I went back after Eric’s forum reply. Thanks.

Ups. Bad timing. A client needs FM18 for high Sierra. Hope he still can get it!?

Yeah, I saw that too. Nice video. However, there doesn't seem to be anything in FMP 19 I actually need (from my list here on the forum)...

Waiting for version "20" or whatever comes next I guess....

Thanks.

having most client base on stand-alone fat client the new Add-On feature is a super feature to enhance our workflow and even helps in regards of performance by using lean file roll-outs and only add-on specific units of the solution required for associated end user etc .. (hope it works!)

MBS FileMaker Plugin 10.2 should work fine with FileMaker 19.

And I prepared blog posts to compare e.g. JavaScript functions between FileMaker 19 and MBS Plugin.

MBS Plugin can load Java classes and call methods.
Or run JavaScript in webviewer.

MBS is a fine product and I'm not disparaging it in my comments. Furthermore, I regularly recommend MBS to others as a possible solution on the forums (I also have a license for MBS). I’ve just created my own API that doesn't depend on, but can be used by, FMP as well as other software clients.

Thanks.

Reading the Official Community, I see that a lot of bugs were fixed . . . Unfortunately you need to go to each post that alerted about a bug to learn that it is fixed. Some are very old bugs, for example trying to pick a value in a pop-up menu on Windows, dating back to V 16.

If only all of these were documented on a single Web page. I have a dream . . .

We could maintain a list here of whatever we find to be fixed with a link.. TSGal did a great job in the past and now her successor does an amazing job IMHO
