My personal experience was that I'm not sure where Claris hosting is, but even controlling for distance, the Filemaker hosting is SUPER slow (higher numbers are better)
I’m 540 miles from the Amazon Servers and 909 miles from Chicago according to Apple Maps (so not as the crow flies) FWIW… I’m not sure where their “west” server is located, but I’m 1,895 miles from Denver, and roughly 2,900 from LA or Seattle or San Fran.
