FileMaker Go Crash When Pasting into Container

While testing a new release of our software, I noticed a bug:
If you try to paste into a container field when nothing is copied to the iPad clipboard, FileMaker immediately closes.

At first, I thought it might be related to my script or file setup, but I created a new test file to verify — it includes a single container field and a button to paste into it using a script step.

So far, I’ve ruled out this being related to hosting it also happens in a local file.
I’m running FileMaker Go 2024, and I still plan to test after updating my iPad.

Has anyone else run into this issue or found a possible solution?

Update:

I updated my iPad and the issue persisted but installing FileMaker Go 2025 solved the issue.

Note that FMGo 25 (22), has a known issue with populating the webviewer - the problem remains in the ETS builds currently, so not solved as yet.

Thanks for the heads up I seem to recall reading about this a while ago but had forgotten. We are lucky it seems. We had one web viewer in this build and had just removed it.
