as you may know, Claris has announced the deprecation of Cent OS support for the next version of FileMaker Server, and the transition to Ubuntu, another distribution of Linux.
fmcloud.fm user should not worry, we're ready for Ubuntu (in fact, it actually makes our life easier). As soon as Claris ships the new FileMaker Server, we will be able to update your server.
There isn't even a "migration" process involved in the sense that we won't have to copy the databases to another docker container. We simply need to restart the OS and boom, you're all set. No DNS propagation, nothing. Thanks to the power of docker.
