LOGs: Auto Notification on Errors/Exceptions?

Is there a capability for FMS to auto-email you if there is a particular error/exception reported in any of the FMS logs? If not, I can write something to scan the log files at some interval, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel if there's something either (1) built -in, or (2) free and widely used.

Sorry, no aware of something ready to use.

But you could have a scheduled script to read the new entries every few minutes, check the error codes and email yourself if something is broken.
