Hi @MonkeybreadSoftware , will this feature has it's own preference checkbox to disable it?
I'm not too worried about evaluating a variable ahead of time, but mousing over a field that would trigger tooltip to evaluate that same field out of context could have it's own performance implications. There is one system I support where I quite literally cannot use the dataviewer's "active" tab when a script is running because the initial developer implemented selector connector. Summary fields can spell trouble in that specific context.
I like the feature idea, I'm just concerned some solutions I work on were not designed in way that will let me benefit from it. In other solutions, this type of "in context" information will spare me from opening the data viewer altogether.
