For two years we were very, very respectful of all Covid restrictions, including masks. However, we decided 2022 was the year the year to move on.
When we were in Germany in February it was masks everywhere. In March it was regional.
In Austria in February masks were compulsory even on outdoor ski lifts. Then in March, very few were wearing masks inside or out (and we caught Covid again, but kept skiing as those around us with it did)
June we were in Spain for 2 weeks and very few masks seen (we didn’t catch Covid), except compulsory on trains (and presumably buses).
In July we were in Scotland and Ireland, again very few masks.
We haven’t worn a mask for months now, even in airports or on planes.
These 4 weeks (temporary office relocation) we are in Crete and only the odd mask is seen, not compulsory on public transport.
Looking at China’s approach, the abandonment of the same policy in Australasia, we hope we have another virus that is nasty to the majority and extremely nasty to the few.
This will no longer prevent us doing anything we wish to do and look forward to EngageU in November.
