Since all FileMaker Cloud 1.x users have an AWS account with EC2 machine.
They can spin up a new EC2 instance with CentOS 7, install FileMaker 19 Server for Linux and switch their database files over. Not a big deal in my opinion.
And when you move, you may also switch away from Amazon.
e.g. with fmcloud.fm or qutic hosting.

That is way beyond the average FileMaker administrator. The disease of the IT industry is the over estimation of the skill sets outside of their silicon headquarters.

They may just follow the configurator options on Fmcloud.fm as I think that is a good assistant to get a cloud server running.
